Regardless of how long the manufacturer gives the Epson 106 cartridge warranty, we have always extended the warranty to three years. If the cartridge stops working before its normal print capacity runs out, we will refund the unprinted part. This Epson C13T00R140 ink cartridge is NOT an original cartridge produced by the printer manufacturer, so it is a so-called replacement supply cartridge. By law, the use of a supply cartridge does not invalidate the warranty granted to the printer. Of course, the printer manufacturer is not responsible for any (very unlikely) damages directly caused by using a non-original cartridge. In practice, however, ink cartridges do not damage printers, whether it is an original or an accessory cartridge.
