Regardless of how long the manufacturer's warranty gives for HP 302XL cartridges, we have always extended the warranty to three years. If the cartridge stops working before its normal print capacity runs out, we will refund the unprinted part. This HP 302XL ink cartridge is NOT an original cartridge produced by the printer manufacturer, so it is a so-called replacement supply cartridge. By law, the use of a supply cartridge does not invalidate the warranty granted to the printer.
